Feb 2024:

The band had a very successful Christmas concert period in conjunction with West Kilbride Primary School and Beith Primary Schools.

More recently we took part in the Scottish Section of the National Concert Band Festival where we once again achieved a Platinum Award for the standard of playing.

We have also welcomed a few new members to the band in a number of sections including percussion, woodwind and brass. Its great to have new blood coming forward and new players are always welcome.

Looking forward now the band is putting together a varied and exciting programme for its summer concert series - details of dates etc to come.

Dalry Concert

Our recent concert evening in Dalry was a resounding success. Playing to a good sized audience and along with choirs from the local schools, the band played a very wide range of music which was very much appreciated by the audience. To give you a feel for the range of music the band plays as part of its repertoire, the set list for this concert ranged from some very technical (but listenable!) orchestral-style test pieces - through rock musicals and TV themes from series’ as diverse as Dr Who and Star Trek!
